From April 16 to 17, Wei Zhaohui, Deputy Secretary of CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee and Mayor of Huaihua City, led a delegation to CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration and China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. for business discussions and conducted investment promotion in Guangdong. Yu Jianyong, a municipal leader and Lin Hua, Secretary General of the People’s Government of Huaihua City, also joined the delegation.

She pointed out that in line with the “three highlands and four new missions” vision, Huaihua is continuously implementing the “five new missions and four orientations” strategy, focusing on developing the port, industry, city and tourism, and striving to build itself into a central city of the border areas of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Guizhou and Guangxi. It is hoped that CAAC Central and Southern Regional Administration will provide support and guidance in optimizing the route layout, promoting the development of low-altitude economy, and enhancing air cargo functions. It is also hoped that China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. will support railway construction in Huaihua during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and guide the commencement of the second phase of the bullet train maintenance depot in Huaihuanan Railway Station. During a meeting with Liu Daoqiang, Chairman of the group, Wei Zhaohui mentioned that Huaihua is taking concrete steps to do a good job in the “second half” of the Hunan Tourism Development Conference and continuously polishing its brand as a blessed land. It is hoped that both sides will work together to promote the effective implementation of projects such as the theme park in Huaihua. During a meeting with Chen Weimin, Chairman and President of the group, Wei Zhaohui stated that Huaihua is leveraging its international land port to vigorously develop the commercial and logistics industry. Shenzhen produces 70% of the global consumer drones. The Shenzhen UAV Industry Association, the first drone industry organization in China, boasts over 1,000 member enterprises. During a meeting with Pang Wei, Secretary General of the association, Wei Zhaohui pointed out that Huaihua boasts superior airspace resources and abundant application scenarios and expressed hope for cooperation in exploring drone application in agriculture, emergency response, and cultural tourism. Pang Wei stated that he would lead a delegation to visit Huaihua as appropriate, to jointly set a model for low-altitude economic application.

During a meeting with Zheng Nenghuan, Chairman of Huaihua Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong and over 10 entrepreneurs, Wei Zhaohui expressed her gratitude for their care and support for the development of their hometown.
