(Huaihua Daily Omnimedia) On the afternoon of December 18, the 2023 Annual Meeting of Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong and Huaihua Investment Promotion Conference was held in Guangzhou. Zhang Jian, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, addressed the conference. Ao Zhuo, Director of the Office of Hunan Provincial People’s Government in Shenzhen, He Zunqing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, Han Xiaobo, Deputy Mayor of Huaihua City and Chen Letian, Chairman of Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong, also delivered speeches.
Zhang Jian stated that Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong has, in recent years, actively responded to the initiative of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial People’s Government to “welcome fellow townsmen to return to hometown and make it a better place”. Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong held a range of investment promotion events, which offered an opportunity to member enterprises to learn about the investment promotion policies across Hunan Province, with a number of investment cooperation achievements made. In 2024, it is hoped that Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong can strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between member enterprises and serve as a bridge between Hunan and Guangdong in terms of economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges.
Ao Zhuo said that at present, Hunan Province is devoting great energy to facilitating the return of Hunan entrepreneurs and welcoming the fellow townsmen to return to hometown and make it a better place. The Office of Hunan Provincial People’s Government in Shenzhen, a shelter for Hunan people in Guangdong, will make every effort to serve as a bridge for these entrepreneurs to return to Hunan and invest in Huaihua and offer quality services.
He Zunqing expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Office of Hunan Provincial People’s Government in Shenzhen that has served as a go-between, to Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong that has paved the way, and to Hunan entrepreneurs who have borne their hometown in mind, constantly pursued progress and been always ready to give back. Huaihua, with its unique advantages, is fully confident. The city boasts tremendous opportunities for opening up, an enabling environment for business, the potential for success and considerate services, where people can grow and thrive together. Huaihua, with great sincerity, looks forward to cooperation. The city hopes to join hands with Hunan entrepreneurs in Guangdong to contribute to the revival of Huaihua, serve as a bridge in its opening up and development, and burnish the city image.
At the investment promotion conference, 18 projects were signed; new members to Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong were granted licenses; and Huaihua Bureau of Commerce, Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sport, Huaihua International Land Port Economic Development Zone, Huaihua Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and Yuhua-Xupu Industrial Park conducted special investment promotion.
