Jingzhou Industrial Development Zone has a planned area of 245.64 hectares, with 131.06 hectares already developed. It currently houses 105 enterprises, including 57 industrial enterprises above the designated size, 27 high-tech enterprises, and 16 strategic emerging industry enterprises. It has cultivated 18 provincial-level specialized, refined, differential and innovative “little giant” enterprises, and established 6 national-level development platforms and 18 provincial-level development platforms. The Jingzhou Poria cocos industrial cluster has been recognized as a “Specialized Industrial Cluster of Small and Medium-sized Industrial Enterprises in Hunan Province” and is currently focusing on building a “double 10 billion yuan” industrial cluster for both Poria cocos and moso bamboo.
