Hongjiang High-tech Zone (Hongjiang District) was established in 2005, with a planned area of 239.18 hectares. The zone has 44 industrial enterprises above the designated size, 22 high-tech enterprises, 14 provincial-level new materials enterprises, 1 national-level key “lttle giant” enterprise, 15 provincial-level “little giant” enterprises, 1 Ministry of Industry and Information Technology “benchmark enterprise”, 2 national-level green factories, 5 provincial-level green factories, and 7 provincial-level innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, forming a “one leading, one specialty” industrial pattern with chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing as the leading industry and pharmaceutical manufacturing as the specialty industry.
