Xinhuang Industrial Development Zone, consisting of Qianfeng Industrial Park and Baishulin Industrial Park, has an approved area of 287.14 hectares. Qianfeng Industrial Park, comprising the Qianfeng block (223.2 hectares) and the Jiudiantang bock (16.98 hectares), has an approved area of 240.18 hectares. Adjacent to Guizhou Dalong Economic Development Zone, Xinhuang Industrial Development Zone is deeply integrated into the construction of Dalong’s national-level new functional materials demonstration zone, striving to create a model of cross-provincial cooperation. Baishulin Industrial Park, located east of Xinhuang County, has an approved area of 46.96 hectares and focuses on the development of the entire industrial chain of “Xinhuang’s Three Treasures”, namely domestic cattle, Polygonati rhizoma (sealwort), and borneol. In 2023, it was approved as a provincial-level chemical industrial park. The park currently has 136 industrial enterprises, including 52 industrial enterprises above the designated size, 22 high-tech enterprises, and 11 specialized, refined, differential and innovative “little giant” enterprises. It has also established 7 provincial-level innovation platforms. Currently, the park is accelerating the development of an industrial system with chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing as the leading industry and agricultural and sideline food processing as its specialty industry.
