Huitong Industrial Development Zone has a planned area of 170.89 hectares, adjacent to Huaihua International Land Port (Huitong Port), with a comprehensive transportation network connecting with the whole country. The park currently houses 158 enterprises, including 47 industrial enterprises above the designated size, 33 high-tech enterprises, 14 provincial-level or above “specialized, refined, differential and innovative” enterprises, 35 provincial-level or above public service platforms, 5 industrial service institutions, 1 crowd innovation space incubator, and 3 companies listed on the Hunan Stock Exchange’s Science and Technology Innovation Board. The zone has 110kV, 35kV, and 10kV dedicated power supply lines, 937 public rental housing units, approximately 650,000 square meters of standardized housing, and a daily sewage treatment capacity of 3,000 tons, forming an industrial development pattern mainly based on luggage, bags and leatherware (sofas), and bamboo and wood deep processing.
