Zhijiang Industrial Development Zone has a total planned area of 5.5 square kilometers. There are now 128 enterprises in the development zone, including 16 provincial high-tech enterprises, two provincial enterprise technology centers, and 43 industrial enterprises above the designated size. At present, a characteristic electronic information industrial cluster has taken initial shape, which mainly consists of three sectors, namely electronic components, semiconductors, and electro-optic displays. In 2019, the development zone was rated as the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base in Hunan Province by the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province.
