Yuanling Industrial Development Zone is located at the Yuanling exit of Hangzhou–Ruili Expressway. The approved area in 2024 was 210.14 hectares, including the 183.23-hectare Hunan (Yuanling) Taiwan Industrial Park and the 26.91-hectare Chenzhou Industrial New Zone Industrial Park. Currently, the development zone is home to 128 enterprises, 10 provincial-level technology research platforms, 11 municipal-level technology research platforms, nine provincial-level specialized and sophisticated SMEs producing unique and novel products, and 13 municipal-level innovative SMEs. The development zone has also obtained approval to set up electronic information and electroplating technology production lines.
