Xupu Industrial Development Zone was established in October 2013. There are now 118 enterprises in the development zone, including 46 industrial enterprises above the designated size, 22 high-tech enterprises, and five “little giant” enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products. In line with the industrial layout featuring “one leading industry, one characteristic industry and two supporting industries”, the development zone works hard to develop the “1+1+2” industrial cluster in which deep processing of silicon materials functions as the leading industry, new chemical materials as the characteristic industry, and cultural and creative sporting goods and metal product manufacturing as the supporting industries.
