Zhongfang Industrial Development Zone has a total planned area of 583 hectares, of which 417 hectares have been developed. The development zone is home to over 200 enterprises, including 91 industrial enterprises above the designated size, 32 high-tech enterprises, and three strategic emerging industrial enterprises. It has fostered 11 provincial enterprises that use special and sophisticated technologies to produce novel and unique products and eight “little giant” enterprises and built seven provincial innovation platforms and 23 municipal innovation platforms.
