Chenxi Industrial Development Zone has a planned area of 497.65 hectares (including the 258.93-hectare Huomachong Comprehensive Basic Industrial Park, the 39.52-hectare Chengnan Electronic Information Industrial Park, and the 21.98-hectare Metal Component Surface Treatment Industrial Park) and a built-up area of 177.22 hectares. There are now 124 enterprises in the development zone, including 44 industrial enterprises above the designated size and 21 high-tech enterprises. In 2023, the total industrial output value exceeded RMB12.02 billion, the total revenue from technology, processing and trade was RMB13.02 billion, and the actual tax paid was RMB369 million. In line with the layout of “one zone and three industrial parks”, the development zone gives priority to new industrial sectors, including chemicals, building materials, mineral processing, metal manufacturing, and electronic information.
