Mayang Industrial Development Zone has a planned area of 2.16 square kilometers. It is situated in the center of Tongren, Jishou and Huaihua, three prefecture-level cities. National highways, expressways, railways and high-speed railways run through the development zone. Huaihua Zhijiang Airport and Tongren Fenghuang Airport lie adjacent to it.
