Huaihua International Land Port Economic Development Zone covers a total area of 12.17 square kilometers. Home to the nation’s ninth largest marshalling station, it plays a crucial role in regional railway transportation. It is a national-level commercial and service-oriented logistics hub and a national food and beverage cold chain logistics base, and is currently applying for a bonded logistics center (Type B), a cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone, and a customs-designated supervision site. Multimodal transport and customs-supervised area construction has been completed, enabling functions such as international freight document processing, cargo inspection, cargo loading and unloading, storage, and distribution. The zone adheres to the development concept of “port-industry-city integration”, focusing on “hub-oriented” industries, and has built a port-adjacent industrial system of “one main industry, two special industries + N”. The “one main industry” refers to the luggage and furniture industry; the “two special industries” are the green food industry and the electronic components industry, both aiming to build a trillion-yuan-grade industrial park.
Key industries: luggage, bags and leatherware; processing, manufacturing and electronic information; green food and traditional Chinese medicine; trade and logistics; cross-border e-commerce
