In 2023, there were 70 enterprises above the designated size in the electronic component industrial chain, with an output value of RMB9,782 million, accounting for 7% of the total output value of industrial enterprises above the designated size in the city. The electronic component industry has experienced sound development. The products span circuit components, connection components, electromechanical components, sensor components, functional material components, and optical communication devices. Meanwhile, thanks to the advantageous electronic component industrial base in Huaihua International Land Port Economic Development Zone, Zhijiang County, Yuanling County, Chenxi County and Hongjiang City, the industrial chain is gradually extended and improved.

Key enterprises: Chilisin Electronics, Huasheng Diantong, Zhengxiang Technology, Yaxin Electronics, Mornsun Technology, Jiannan Machinery Factory, Xiang He Cable, and Chuanghua Technology.

Development priorities: Electronic materials, power transformers, optical film materials, high-performance composite materials, infrared materials and other new electronic materials; capacitors, inductors, sensitive elements, wires, cables and other electronic components.
