On February 5, Huaihua City held three matchmaking conferences for employment matchmaking, taxation-enterprise matchmaking, and bank-enterprise matchmaking for foreign trade enterprises respectively, in a bid to thoroughly implement the decisions and plans on stabilizing foreign trade, actively carry out the initiative to enhance policies, care and confidence regarding foreign trade, and effectively address the difficulties and obstacles faced by Huaihua foreign trade enterprises in employment, taxation, and financing. These conferences aimed to promote precise connection of policies, financial resources, and talent resources with foreign trade enterprises and enhance the development momentum and confidence of enterprises.
The conferences introduced tax policies, employment policies, and financial products and, based on the actual development of foreign trade enterprises in Huaihua City, detailed policy application conditions and application procedures. Enterprise representatives actively raised questions and engaged in in-depth communication with the presenters regarding matters such as financial support, tax refund application, employment issues, and risk prevention. Representatives from participating enterprises unanimously agreed that the presentations were comprehensive, targeted, and informative. They not only gained a deeper understanding of the policies, but also obtained actionable guidelines.
In recent days, Huaihua Bureau of Commerce has formed nine working groups to conduct the initiative to enhance policies, care and confidence regarding foreign trade. They visited 152 enterprises, comprehensively assessed their situations, addressed their difficulties, identified and categorized over 200 specific issues, established a “one-on-one” assistance mechanism with taxation, human resources and social security, banking, industry and information technology, agriculture, and customs authorities, and provided targeted and effective services for foreign trade enterprises.
In 2025, by implementing initiatives to support enterprises in breaking even, doubling profits, and seeking global expansion and establish taskforces, Huaihua helped 28 manufacturing enterprises to break even and 17 enterprises to double profits, achieving an annual import and export volume of RMB11.23 billion, and the number of enterprises involved in foreign trade reached 303.
