From December 16 to 17, Xu Zhongjian, Secretary of CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, led a delegation to Shanghai for investment promotion. They visited COSCO Shipping Group, inspected key enterprises such as Fosun International Limited and Shanghai Bilibili Technology Co., Ltd., and had in-depth discussions on cooperation.
On the morning of December 17, Xu Zhongjian had a work meeting with Wan Min, Chairman and Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of COSCO Shipping Group. Xu Zhongjian thanked COSCO Shipping Group for its strong support for Huaihua’s development, especially the development of the Huaihua International Land Port. He said that Huaihua is currently thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles from the Central Economic Work Conference and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key speeches and instructions on Hunan. In line with the “three highlands and four new missions” vision, the city relies on Huaihua International Land Port to actively integrate into the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, take concrete steps to advance the development of port, industry, city and tourism, and strive to build itself into a central city of the border areas of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Guizhou and Guangxi. It is sincerely hoped that COSCO Shipping Group will leverage its unique advantages to support Huaihua in improving the operation of its land port and expanding international trade channels, thereby yielding more tangible results in strategic cooperation. Wan Min thanked Huaihua for its support for COSCO Shipping Group. He said that Huaihua International Land Port boasts strong development momentum, and Huaihua’s position as an important node city on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is steadily improving. COSCO Shipping Group will adhere to serving major national strategies and fully leverage its advantageous global shipping network and integrated logistics system. It will regard Huaihua as a key region for development in central and western China, step up targeted engagement, and carry out strategic cooperation across more areas and in greater depth. Lin Ji, Deputy General Manager and member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of COSCO Shipping Group, also attended the meeting.

On December 16, during a meeting with Wang Qunbin, Co-Chairman of Fosun International Limited, Xu Zhongjian stated that Huaihua is thoroughly studying and implementing the guiding principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key speeches and instructions on Hunan. In line with the “three highlands and four new missions” vision, the city leverages its resource advantages to vigorously develop characteristic and advantageous industries such as the pharmaceutical and health industry, cultural tourism, and green mining, which highly aligns with Fosun International’s strategic planning. Xu expected all-round, multi-level cooperation with Fosun International to achieve win-win development. Wang Qunbin stated that Fosun International will actively engage in project coordination with Huaihua to seek cooperation and development. Zhu Wenkui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Fosun and Vice President of Fosun International Limited, also attended the meeting.
At Shanghai Bilibili Technology Co., Ltd., Xu Zhongjian learned about the company’s development history, corporate culture, and business segments. He noted that Bilibili is a very popular cultural community and video platform among young people in China, and he sincerely hoped that Shanghai Bilibili Technology Co., Ltd. would fully leverage its advantages in content production and video dissemination, further deepen exchanges and cooperation with Huaihua, create a diversified product portfolio, and help promote and showcase Huaihua’s city image from all angles. Wu Qi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Bilibili, stated that the company will fully utilize its resources and technological advantages to conduct pragmatic cooperation with Huaihua and achieve win-win development.
