On August 28, the reporter learned from Huaihua Industrial and Information Technology Bureau that by deeply integrating digital economy and real economy, Huaihua has made solid progress in the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.

Currently, a new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is advancing, and digital economy and real economy are deeply integrated. In recent years, Huaihua has achieved initial results in the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, developing a number of provincial benchmark projects and typical application scenarios.

Hengguang Technology, an enterprise in Hongjiang District, has deployed a “5G + industrial internet” platform, introduced AI intelligent algorithms and digital twin technologies, improved production scheduling, reduced manual intervention, provided early warning of equipment failures, and reduced the risk of downtime. These efforts have increased equipment response speed by 50% and utilization by 25%. The enterprise was therefore included in the third batch of “5G + industrial internet” demonstration factories in Hunan Province. Huaxing Oil Industry, a Zhijiang-based enterprise, has achieved full-process monitoring and data sharing across production, sales, logistics, and other stages through intelligent transformation and the implementation of the standards for the integration of industrialization and informatization. The enterprise has reduced labor costs by 75% and increased production capacity by 566%, becoming a benchmark for the digital transformation of the oil and fat industry in Hunan Province. Xianghua Electronics, a Yuanling-based enterprise, has developed an intelligent inductor production line with human-machine collaborative operation, reducing the rate of defective products by 25% and increasing production efficiency by 40%.

Since the beginning of this year, there have been six new enterprises in the city that implement the digital transformation standards, including Wuxin Intelligent, Yulong Electric, Hongsheng Electronic Technology, Xianghua Electronic Technology, Kangrui Paint Technology, and Xiangtong Industry, as well as two new enterprises that implement the standards for the integration of industrialization and informatization, including Bestcome and Vanguard Group. Five enterprises, including Hunan Xulian Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Xiangtong Industry Co., Ltd., Yuanling Xianghua Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Jinlan Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., and Huaihua Jiannan Machinery Factory Co., Ltd., have been recognized as provincial advanced smart factories in 2025.

These enterprises are mainly in advantageous industrial fields such as electronic components, intelligent manufacturing of bags and suitcases, new energy and equipment manufacturing. They demonstrate Huaihua’s solid progress and strong momentum in the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry. Smart factories, as important levers for intelligent manufacturing, are a main showcase for the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of the manufacturing industry. In line with the smart factory tiered development action, Huaihua has developed smart factories in four tiers, namely basic smart factories, advanced smart factories, excellent smart factories, and leading smart factories. In recent years, Huaihua has worked towards high-end, intelligent and green development, accelerated the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and cultivated and developed new quality productive forces in light of local conditions, according to relevant officials from Huaihua Industrial and Information Technology Bureau. Focusing on the action of “Intelligent Empowerment of Thousands of Enterprises”, the city has deepened the integrated development of the digital economy and the real economy.
