(Huaihua Daily Omnimedia) The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. To fully take advantage of the CIIE and advance the opening up of Huaihua, Huaihua dispatched a trade delegation to Shanghai for the expo, with an aim to boost economic and trade cooperation and exchanges and expand the scale of import and export of the city. The delegation consists of departments such as Huaihua Bureau of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Huaihua Sub-council and Huaihua Customs as well as nearly 30 import and export enterprises including Hunan Jiahui, Guangjiajia Technology, Chentou Jietan Tea Industry and Tiantian Food. On the first day of the expo, Hunan Guangjiajia Technology reached a purchase agreement of RMB10 million; Tiantian Food reached preliminary cooperative intentions with Junfeng Company of Hong Kong and other companies.

The participating enterprises and buyers from Huaihua span multiple sectors, including food and agricultural products, commercial trade logistics, pharmaceutical and comprehensive health, cultural creativity, bamboo and wood products, fine chemical and modern animal husbandry. At the expo, the Huaihua trade delegation mainly visited the key exhibition areas for trade in services, food and agricultural products, medical equipment and healthcare products, and consumer goods, and supported enterprises to reach purchase intentions. At the Sixth CIIE Promotion Conference for Hunan Exhibition Projects held on the morning of November 6, main responsible person of Huaihua Bureau of Commerce promoted projects of the RCEP Economic and Trade Expo under the theme of “sharing opportunities and shaping the future of the MICE industry”, which garnered significant attention from renowned trade fairs and MICE enterprises at home and abroad. In the cultural exchange exhibition activity, Huaihua Tiantian Food Technology Co., Ltd. laid out its exhibits in the Hunan Cultural Exchange Exhibition Area. The exhibition attracted numerous buyers and the exhibited products gained much popularity.
It is learned that the Huaihua trade delegation will continue to participate in cultural exchange exhibition activities and supply-demand matchmaking activities during the sixth CIIE.
