On October 1, National Day, Huayao (literally Flowery Yao, a branch of the Yao ethnic group) girls of the Fengxiang Yao Village in Xupu County donned their festive costumes and sang Sweet Rice Wine of the Yao Mountains and Ode to the Motherland, celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, while warmly inviting tourists from all over the country to visit the village and experience the heartfelt hospitality of the Huayao people.
