Huangdu Dong Culture Village is a national 4A tourist attraction located in Tongdao Dong Autonomous County of Huaihua City, Hunan Province. It is situated in Pingtan Township, at the center of the Dong Culture Corridor, about 10 kilometers from the county seat, and is inhabited by the Dong ethnic group. As one of the first villages recognized for folk cultural arts and one of the top ten cultural tourism characteristic towns in Hunan, it has been developed into a cultural tourism resort featuring Tong customs and integrating sightseeing, art performance, catering, leisure and recreation. The village boasts a picturesque scenery and a variety of folk activities, including welcoming wine ceremony, Dong custom performances, ethnic sports experience activities, hands-on experiences with Dong musical instruments, lusheng performance, Dong wedding shows, drinking oil tea, making sticky rice cake, as well as holding long-table banquets, fishing games and bonfire parties.
