The Hengyanzhuhai Ecological Leisure Tourism Resort is located in Hengyan Township, upstream of the Yuanshui River, and is renowned as the Hometown of Moso Bamboo. It encompasses four natural villages: Yuanhe, Hengyan, Luci and Changpu. The core scenic area spans 20 square kilometers, within which the total forestland area amounts to 46,000 mu (about 3,000 hectares), with a forest coverage rate exceeding 80%. The moso bamboo forest covers 30,000 mu (2,000 hectares), earning it the title “the Second Largest Bamboo Sea in China” and the largest “Natural Oxygen Bar” in Southwest China. The scenic area boasts beautiful landscapes and unsophisticated local customs, making it highly suitable for ecological leisure tourism. Major attractions include Luci Peninsula, Zhuwaxi Stream, Miaoxikou, Hongjiang Hydropower Station, and Changpu Experiential Tour, among others.
