Xuefeng Mountain National Forest Park is located in the eastern part of Hongjiang City, covering a total area of 4,025.9 hectares. The park lies on the main ridge of Xuefeng Mountain, featuring a mountainous landscape shaped by erosion and denudation, with an average elevation of 1,150 meters. There are 12 peaks above 1,500 meters, and the forest coverage rate is 90%. The area is known for having 10,000 to 20,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter, earning it the titles of the Xuefeng Summer Resort and natural ecological oxygen bar. The park has convenient transportation, located just 24 kilometers from the Jiangkou exit of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, with National Road 320 passing through the area. The first phase of the park’s development features a scenic tour route that is 7.5 kilometers long, including nine major attractions: Liziping Tourist Service, Beauty Valley Stream Tracing, Forest Relaxation, Primitive Sub-Forest, Xuefeng Heavenly Pool, Pingshantang Wetland, Alpine Weather Station, Alpine Meadow, and Hat Ridge Sunrise Viewing. The park has distinct seasons and pleasant scenery, showcasing four major natural phenomena: flower seas, sunrises, rime ice, and ice sculptures. Visitors can enjoy the vertical variation of alpine plants from the main entrance to the mountain peak, taking in the beauty of “four seasons in one mountain”, while relishing the joy and freshness brought by the forest oxygen bar.
