The Cultural and Tourism Project of Heming Isle is situated at the southeast corner of the intersection of Hongxing Road and Tianxing Road in Hecheng District, Huaihua City, on the lower reaches of the Taiping Stream, a tributary of the Wushui River. Rooted in Huaihua’s overall development strategy and leveraging the opportunity of the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference held in autumn 2025, the project aims to create a stunning urban calling card that embodies Huaihua’s spirit, city image and historical culture.
Heming Blessed Land, a panoramic digital performance show, takes the river and its banks as an integrated stage. It builds a three-dimensional, multi-layered performance system: fountains and fan-shaped folding screens form the foreground; lifting LED screens and riverside light shows on both banks serve as the middle ground; and the digital light show at Guanhe Tower makes up the background. This design ensures audience on the south bank grandstand can enjoy an excellent viewing experience from every seat. In addition, the water screen movie adopts cinematic storytelling techniques to vividly interpret Huaihua’s reputation as a blessed land. While wowed by the spectacle, visitors can also gain an insight into the spirit of the city.
