Responsibilites
In charge of the day-to-day work of the Municipal People’s Government. Responsible for work related to development and reform, emergency management, statistics, government office administration, economic research, data management, taxation, railway construction, airport construction, national defense mobilization, government services, government affairs disclosure, business environment optimization, housing provident fund administration, handling of proposals put forward by deputies to the Municipal People’s Congress and members of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, deepening reforms, livelihood programs and performance evaluation. Assists in work related to finance and audit.
Oversee the General Office of the Municipal People’s Government, Municipal Development and Reform Commission (concurrently Municipal Administration of Grain and Material Reserves, Municipal Center for Key Construction Projects), Municipal National Defense Mobilization Office (concurrently Municipal Civil Air Defense Office), Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, Municipal Fire and Rescue Detachment, Municipal Government Office Administration Bureau, Municipal People’s Government Research Office, Municipal Data Bureau (concurrently Municipal Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau), Municipal Public Resources Trading Center, Municipal Housing Provident Fund Administration Center; assists in overseeing the Municipal Finance Bureau and Municipal Audit Bureau.
Liaise with the Standing Committee of the Municipal People’s Congress, Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Huaihua Military Sub-district, Municipal Supervisory Commission, Municipal Party School (concurrently Municipal Academy of Governance), Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal People’s Government (concurrently Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Municipal People’s Government), all municipal committees of democratic parties, Municipal Tax Service, and Huaihua Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics.
