The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) is being held in Haikou between April 13 and 18, 2025. Forty-one Hunan enterprises participate in the expo.

Hunan exhibitors are from such fields as new energy, electronics and electrical appliances, time-honored brands, consumer boutiques, health care, and food and beverages. There are well-known Hunan enterprises such as BYD, Hunan Newsmy New Energy, Jiugui Liquor, Hunan Longping Farm, Hunan Embroidery Research Institute, and Lameizi (Spicy Girl). There are also time-honored or intangible cultural heritage products with unique Hunan characteristics, including Hunan Anhua dark tea, underglaze five-colored porcelain, Hunan embroidery, and Miao embroidery, as well as goat's milk powder and camellia oil.

The Hunan pavilion is located in Hall 7 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, covering an exhibition area of 500 square meters. With the theme of "New Consumption, New Hunan", the pavilion adopts an open space layout and integrates starry sky atmosphere, classic architectural elements, and landscape modeling, to fully display the scenery and natural beauty of Hunan.

The pavilion has set up tailor-made areas for each enterprise exhibitor to demonstrate their unique brand identity. At the central exhibition area, BYD's new energy vehicles are displayed with a long strip of multi-screen LED as a dynamic background, creating a sense of outdoor driving atmosphere. The exhibition area for time-honored tea enterprises features a backdrop of classical architectures, with a tea tasting area specially arranged. The Hunan Daqiuni Ceramics Art Co., Ltd. and the Chen Yanglong Underglaze Kiln present their products at the porcelain area, enabling the audience to appreciate the charm of Hunan porcelain. Responding to the three-year campaign to raise public awareness of weight management, as initiated by the National Health Commission, Hunan Pavilion introduces a dedicated healthy magnetic slimming experience area.
