The Huaihua Camellia Oleifera Digital-Intelligent Experimental Demonstration Base is exploring the construction of a modern camellia oleifera planting model featuring “resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure + intelligent precision management”, striving to achieve integrated water and fertilizer intelligent irrigation and scientific precision management. Wei Zhaohui, Gao Jingsheng, and their delegation visited the “Deyou” high-grafting crown replacement area and the water and fertilizer facilities and equipment area, gaining a detailed understanding of the low-yield forest transformation, infrastructure construction, digital-intelligent management, and the smart water network industry linkage layout of the Zhongfang County area of the Wushui Large-scale Irrigation District.
Wei Zhaohui pointed out that the tea-oil camellia industry is a distinctive industry that enriches the people and delivers ecological, economic, and social benefits. It is of necessity to accelerate the promotion and application of superior varieties and advanced methods, solidly advance the transformation of low-yield forests, speed up area expansion, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement, and develop replicable and promotable experience and practices, so as to make the city’s tea-oil camellia industry bigger, stronger, and better. It is necessary to strengthen digital-intelligent empowerment, build and make good use of the digital forestry cloud platform, carry out scientific and precision management, and promote the transformation of traditional agriculture into smart agriculture. It is necessary to make good use of organic fertilizer, ensure the implementation of manure returning to fields, and see to it that organic fertilizer can be produced, delivered, and used well. It is necessary to rely on the Wushui Large-scale Irrigation District project and the scientific layout of the water conservancy system to connect with the industrial layout township by township, improve the terminal pipe network and unclog the “capillaries” for water and fertilizer entering the fields. It is necessary to break away from traditional agricultural mindset, develop comprehensive three-dimensional agriculture according to local conditions, promote the deep integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism, and explore diversified paths for income growth. It is necessary to improve the interest linkage mechanism that connects farmers and drives them along and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the people to participate in the development of the tea-oil camellia industry, enabling the broad masses of farmers to share in the dividends of industrial development.
After the Huaihua Agriculture and Forestry Group’s demonstration site for the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure (organic water-soluble fertilizer production) is completed, it will be able to convert 55,000 tons of manure from a pig farm with an annual slaughter volume of 50,000 pigs into organic water-soluble fertilizer stock solution entirely through an enzymatic hydrolysis process. After blending, it will be precisely delivered via a smart pipeline network system to surrounding planting bases such as oil tea and rice. Wei Zhaohui and Gao Jingsheng learned in detail about the green combination of planting and breeding, environmental protection treatment processes, and other relevant conditions. Wei Zhaohui pointed out that it is necessary to unswervingly follow the path of ecological priority and green development, open up the closed-loop path of harmless treatment of livestock and poultry manure and resource-based return to fields, promote the combination of planting and breeding and circular utilization, and continuously improve comprehensive benefits; it is necessary to strengthen platform data supervision, regularly carry out offline testing and invite representatives of the public to participate in sampling supervision, ensuring that the treatment process is traceable and the water quality is safe and up to standard, so that the public can be reassured and satisfied.
