On February 9, as the spring breeze sweeps across Buyunping Village, Longjiabao Township, Mayang Miao Autonomous County, nearly 1,000 mu of rapeseed flowers are quietly brewing a visual feast. This year, the sea of flowers is taking on a brand-new look. Agricultural authorities have smartly selected colorful rapeseed varieties to “write” giant artistic characters on the green waves: “Mayang, Hunan – Orange Dragon, Riding the Wind and Waves, Mayang the Best”. Viewed from a drone, the land resembles a vibrant canvas, transforming farming landscapes into a spectacular photo spot.
