On January 22, sports enthusiasts were engaged in traditional sports activities in front of the Tongdao Fitness Center. The county launched a fitness event featuring "Joyfully Celebrating the New Year" in an effort to meet the fitness needs of the general public around the Spring Festival and create a peaceful and festive holiday atmosphere. This enabled the general public to participate in traditional sports such as Duo Jian (shuttlecock-kicking, a traditional sport of the Dong ethnic group in China), throwing the love-symbolizing embroidered balls, stilt-walking, playing fun frisbees, and throwing darts. Besides, they just enjoyed these activities right “at their doorstep".
