On December 26, the 1,000th freight train was delivered from the Huaihua International Land Port. The cargo consisted of light weight coated paper rolls worth about 3 million yuan produced by Yueyang Forest and Paper Co., Ltd., totaling 22 FEUs of about 550 tons.

The goods were transported by rail from Yueyang to Huaihua, and then transferred to the rail-sea combined transport train of Huaihua International Land Port. The cargo went along the eastern main channel of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, passing through Huaihua and Liuzhou to reach the Beibu Gulf (Qinzhou Port), and then shipped by sea to Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The entire operation was organized by New Land-Sea Corridor Operation (Hunan) Co., Ltd., with the railway transportation handled by the Changsha Railway Logistics Center of Guangzhou Railway Group and the maritime shipment being managed by Cosco Shipping Lines (Hunan) Co., Ltd.
