On May 5th, 2023, the first day of the Hunan (Huaihua) RCEP Economic and Trade Expo was held, and over 2,000 unique products from RCEP member countries and Huaihua locals were showcased at the Huaihua International Convention and Exhibition Center.

At the host Huaihua Exhibition Hall, citizens stopped and carefully examined the “route of Huaihua to the world” in the middle of the exhibition hall. In the “5+N” modern industry exhibition area, cultural tourism exhibition hall, the opening dance show of Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Mall, Lusheng Flute in the passageway, Paper Cuttings in Hecheng district and other intangible cultural heritage projects attracted the attention of exhibitors and citizens. In the advanced manufacturing exhibition area, Guangdong merchants picked up a piece of car mounted display glass and inquired about it. This glass is the glass cover plate produced in bulk by Hunan Xinghuai New Material Technology Co., Ltd. In the exhibition halls of pharmaceutical health, green agricultural products, and commercial logistics, merchants stopped in front of the “Huai Liu Wei” traditional Chinese medicine booths such as Poria cocos, Huangjing, Longya Lily, and Qingfengteng to acquire relevant information. In front of the exhibition booths of local agricultural products in Huaihua, such as Yuanling Daqu achohole, Jietan Tea, Golden Grapefruit, Navel Orange, Zhijiang Duck, etc., merchants were interested in tasting authentic Huaihua “local products”.
It is reported that the total exhibition area of this expo is about 20,000 square meters, consisting of six exhibition areas: RCEP National Comprehensive Image Exhibition Area, City and State Image Exhibition Area, Key Brand Enterprise Exhibition Area, Cross Border E-commerce Exhibition Area, 5+N Modern Industry Exhibition Area, and Special Product Exhibition and Sales Area. There are 42 indoor special exhibition booths, 89 outdoor standard exhibition booths, and 613 enterprises participating in the exhibition.
