To continuously improve highway traffic conditions and fully eliminate road traffic safety hazards, the Zhongfang County Highway Construction and Maintenance Center of Huaihua Cidty launched a special rectification campaign for the road environment of national and provincial highways on September 16. This practice has comprehensively upgraded the management and maintenance of arterial highways within its jurisdiction and ensured safe and unimpeded travel for the public.

The scope of this rectification covers two national highways, G209 and G320, and two provincial highways, S250 and S322, within the county’s jurisdiction. Work has proceeded in an orderly manner at the operation site. All staff members, in high-visibility safety vests,have worked in close coordination with a clear division of labor. Using a full range of maintenance equipment and tools, they have carried out thorough, all-round cleaning and rectification across the entire highway network without leaving any blind spots.

They have also focused on key areas including main road surfaces, central isolation belts, road shoulders, road slopes, green belts, and roadside ditches. They have adopted a comprehensive approach to clearing sundries such as sediment, domestic garbage, and dead leaves from road surfaces and removing dirt accumulated at the bottom of guardrails. Meanwhile, They have weeded overgrown grasses and wild vines on both sides of roads, and trimmed broken branches and messy shrubs. The efforts have effectively eliminated potential safety problems such as road signs obscured by vegetation and blocked driving visibility. All sanitary dead spots have been thoroughly cleaned up, and roadside landscapes standardized and improved, ensuring clean road surfaces, unobstructed drainage and clear driving vision.

This special rectification follows the principle of “full coverage, no blind spots, and tangible results”. It has comprehensively eliminated potential environmental and safety issues along arterial highways, greatly enhancing road appearance, as well as driving experience and safety on the highways.
