In July, two provincial key projects, namely the Lingdan Express Logistics Park and the Green Food Industrial Park, are going all‑out in a final push to complete all main works by September 30 in the Huaihua International Inland Port Economic Development Zone

As a core supporting project for Hecheng‑Zhongfang integrated development, the Lingdan Express Logistics Park with a total investment of 260 million yuan has reached 83 percent completion.

“The main structures of Building 2 and Building 3 have been successfully topped out. Steel‑structure hoisting for Building 1 is mostly finished, and roof panel installation is pressing ahead steadily.” said Chen Jinkai, on‑site project manager of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau. He introduced that to make the most of construction time, the project department has mobilized all staff and formulated a backward‑scheduled construction timetable. While ensuring safety and quality, different construction procedures are arranged in an interleaved and well‑coordinated manner. “We will see to it that all main structures are completed by the end of September, enabling the park to be put into operation as scheduled in October and fully integrate scattered logistics resources across the port zone.”

At the Green Food Industrial Park, construction is also in full swing. Boasting a total investment of 494 million yuan, the park is 80 percent complete. Among its three buildings, one has been topped out, and topping‑out for the other two will be achieved by the end of this month.

The bustling progress of the two projects serves as a microcosm of the zone’s vigorous push for projects and investment. Since the beginning of this year, the land port has reaped fruitful results in project development: it has secured 538 million yuan in project funds, and 21 provincial‑ and municipal‑level key projects have completed investment worth 2.325 billion yuan. Among them, the zone has seven provincial key projects, ranking No.1 in the city by quantity, with completed investment of 1.617 billion yuan, 22.97 percentage points above the scheduled progress.

Meanwhile, the inland port keeps expanding its network of partners. The multimodal transport center, domestic and foreign trade comprehensive service center, and the dual bonded warehouses have been completed and put into operation. The addition of three overseas warehouses in the United States, Uganda and Poland has further widened international logistics corridors.

The high‑intensity construction reflects the rapid pace of development. Behind the full‑speed advancement of key projects lies the Economic Development Zone’s firm resolve to accelerate the transformation of blueprints into real achievements. As opening‑up platforms keep getting upgraded and international logistics corridors continue to expand, the land port leverages progress in project construction to bolster steady development driven by opening‑up, building robust momentum for building Huaihua into a regional central city at the juncture of five provinces.
