Huaihua (Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei) Investment Promotion Conference was held at Leyard Group in Beijing on the afternoon of August 23. Wei Zhaohui, secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, and Zhou Liang, Party group secretary and director of the Hunan Provincial Government Beijing Office, attended and addressed the event. More than 20 representatives from central SOEs, business associations, Hunan‑origin entrepreneurs and investors were present, alongside Huaihua municipal leaders Yu Jianyong and He Weiying.
On behalf of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Wei Zhaohui thanked entrepreneurs for their care and support for Huaihua. She noted that Huaihua boasts promising prospects. Situated at the intersection of the New Western Land‑Sea Corridor and the Shanghai‑Kunming Corridor, and at the strategic juncture of the Rise of Central China and the Western Development Program, Huaihua is striving to build a regional central city bordering five provinces. Huaihua is endowed with solid foundations. It abounds in mineral resources including gold, copper, antimony, tungsten, phosphorus and silica sand, as well as forest‑based resources such as moso bamboo, Chinese medicinal herbs, fruits and camellia oleifera, holding great potential for high‑quality development of complete industrial chains. Huaihua delivers solid performance. It is fully committed to advancing industries, projects and investment promotion, focusing on five key sectors: green mining, new materials, longevity‑oriented health care, ecological resources and export‑oriented industries, and working persistently to foster hundred‑billion‑yuan‑level industrial clusters. Huaihua demonstrates strong commitment. It has further rolled out the Enterprise Service Year initiative and kept improving business environment, enabling enterprises to play the leading role. She expressed the hope that participants would visit Huaihua to witness its new momentum, new resolve and new achievements, and pay greater attention to, explore, invest in and thrive in Huaihua.
In his remarks, Zhou Liang stated that Huaihua is a land with time‑honored history and culture, and has been endowed with fresh contemporary significance under the strong leadership of the municipal Party committee and government. The Hunan Provincial Government Beijing Office will fulfill its mandate: deliver solid investment‑promotion work by leveraging resources of Beijing‑based business associations, regularly releasing Huaihua’s industrial policies and investment projects, telling Huaihua’s stories in multi‑faceted and all‑round ways, and precisely matching upstream and downstream resources to raise Huaihua’s influence and appeal across the Beijing‑Tianjin‑Hebei Region; deliver business‑support services by aligning with Huaihua’s “5+10” modern industrial system, precisely connecting with central SOEs and industry leaders, and providing two‑way services for central and private enterprises to jointly boost Huaihua’s development; deliver entrepreneur‑friendly services by being responsive, reliable and thoughtful, fully supporting Hunan‑origin entrepreneurs to return home for business development and give back to their hometown, so that Hunan‑origin entrepreneurs can operate in Hunan with greater confidence and assurance.
