On the morning of August 18, the Municipal Courts’ Work‑Promotion Meeting on Enforcement for the Second Half of 2026 was convened. The meeting aims to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, fully carry out the deployment requirements of higher-level people’s courts for enforcement work, review work outcomes in the first half of the year, analyze the current situation and tasks, and arrange key work for the next phase.
The meeting pointed out that enforcement work in our city has maintained a sound momentum. In the comprehensive assessment of enforcement quality and efficiency for 2025, the city ranked third across the province, though shortcomings and weak links still remain. It is imperative to stay focused on set targets, shore up deficiencies, boost innovation, and sustain our leading position in enforcement work province-wide.
The meeting also stressed that full efforts should be made to advance five special‑purpose initiatives, further the green channel for people‑related cases, and intensify the crackdown on crimes of refusing to enforce judgments. Continuous efforts shall be made to enhance standardized enforcement, strengthen whole‑process supervision, and boost transparency in enforcement work. Practical measures must be taken to resolve bottlenecks and difficulties in enforcement, make sustained strides in tracking down persons and property, adopt a multi‑pronged approach to source‑based governance, and uphold good‑faith and civilized enforcement. Joint governance for enforcement shall be deepened through enhanced inter‑departmental coordination, so as to give full play to the government‑court linkage mechanism.
According to the meeting, the ideological defense line against corruption be consolidated and anti-corruption education strengthened. Efforts should be made to improve the risk-prevention and control mechanism for integrity risks and strengthen routine oversight. All types of potential risks and hidden dangers must be forestalled and defused, with a sound risk prevention and control system put in place. Enforcement-team building shall be prioritized to foster an enforcement contingent that lives up to the Party’s trust and meets the people’s expectations.
