From May 28 to 29, 2026, the Huaihua’s 2026 outstanding Entrepreneurship Projects Exhibition and Incubation Event was held at Huaihua University, where 52 high-quality entrepreneurship projects staged roadshows and competed in groups. Centering on youth entrepreneurship cultivation, the event aimed to encourage college graduates to stay or come to Huaihua for starting businesses, boost employment via entrepreneurship, further consolidate project reserves for the city’s “1+5+N” entrepreneurship incubation system, and achieve two-way empowerment between projects and incubation platforms.

The participating projects were divided into six categories:

Scientific & Technological Achievements + Entrepreneurship

    Industrial Development + Entrepreneurship

    People’s Livelihood Needs + Entrepreneurship

    Vocational Skills + Entrepreneurship

    College Students’ Entrepreneurship

    Youth Innovation

After intense competition, the following projects won first prizes in their respective categories:

Nine most promising projects selected from them will be offered customized differentiated incubation plans by expert teams, and receive five days of one-to-one follow-up guidance to support their long-term development.

Liang Xiaorong, presenter of the Xuefeng Mountain Native Black Pig project, stated that the project was launched because more than 90% of pork on Chinese dining tables currently comes from imported white pigs from Europe and America. “We call on the next generation to enjoy high-quality native pigs raised by Chinese people ourselves,” she said.

Li Fen, presenter of the Rooting in the Millennium Ancient City to Revive Hanfu  Culture project and a Hanfu enthusiast, expressed her hope to drive the integration of culture and tourism through Hanfu, relying on the profound historical and cultural heritage of Qianyang Ancient City.

At the opening ceremony, cooperative projects under the 2026 Huaihua “Land Port Partner” Recruitment Order No.2 — Youth Maker Recruitment Order were signed on the spot. Meanwhile, the 2026 Huaihua “Land Port Partner” Recruitment Order No.3 was officially released.
