On May 12, the 2026 Hunan (Huaihua) RCEP Economic and Trade Investment Fair & "Hunan Quality Products Going Global" Foreign Trade Characteristic Industry Supply-Demand Matchmaking Event was held at Crowne Plaza Huaihua by the Taiping Stream. The event gathered numerous merchants in a vibrant atmosphere, echoing the powerful and enduring melody of opening-up and cooperation.

At the booth of Outeng Luggage, stylish and exquisitely designed suitcases caught the eye of numerous merchants. Purchasing representatives from Libya, Pakistan, Egypt, Bolivia, Russia and other countries came one after another for business negotiations. "The design and quality are both excellent, and we hope to further deepen our cooperation."
Hunan Outeng Luggage Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a rising star at Huaihua International Luggage & Leather Goods Industrial Park. Currently, over 40 containers of goods are shipped monthly from Huaihua International Land Port and exported via Guangzhou Nansha Port to more than 60 countries and regions across Europe, America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
"A great number of business merchants have attended this event. In particular, tapping into Africa as a new blue ocean presents another fresh opportunity for our company’s business expansion," said a relevant official of the company.
"I’ll take all three models of these suitcases."After browsing around the Lingxiu Luggage exhibition area, Libyan purchaser Abdullah Elfreid settled on his favorite products and immediately asked about the stock availability, adding that he would pay an on-site visit to the factory later.
It was his first visit to Huaihua, he said, and he hoped to source a variety of products through this inspection tour."I am very optimistic about cooperation with Huaihua. This is my first trip here to expand business, and I plan to take root and pursue long-term development in the future."
He serves as Vice President of the Africa-China Cooperation and Development Investment Association. According to him, Africa boasts huge consumer demand. With proper promotion, a steady stream of orders will follow.

At the booth of Hunan Youhe Leather Goods Co., Ltd., Russian business buyers showed a particular fondness for shoulder bags, while Ms. Stephanie from Bolivia was deeply impressed by the craftsmanship of the handbags. She picked up the bags on display to examine them closely, clearly unable to put them down.
"The workmanship and texture are exceptional, and we hope to establish cooperation," she remarked. She explained that due to cultural differences, she could provide design drawings of styles popular among local consumers to have customized luggage and bags made in Huaihua.
Hunan Youhe Leather Goods is located in Yuxu Industrial Park of Xupu County. It operates as an integrated factory with self-owned production and foreign trade business. Its products are sold to more than 20 countries and regions across Europe and America. The company will open a new factory in Huaihua International Luggage & Leather Goods Industrial Park this year, focusing specially on the production of women's bags.
It was nearly 1 p.m., yet merchants were still busy visiting booths and exchanging views, with business negotiations going on in full swing.
In recent years, Huaihua's luggage and leather goods industry has grown from scratch. It now boasts over 200 industrial chain enterprises and more than 40 above-scale enterprises, steadily advancing the construction of "Huaihua — International Luggage Capital".
