Let outcomes of learning and education better benefit the people, Xu stressed during the inspection

On the morning of April 16, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, conducted an inspection tour in Hongjiang City, After listening to the opinions of grassroots officials and the public,he stressed the need to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on fostering and practicing a correct view of governance performance, and to earnestly carry out the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee as well as the deployments of the Hunan Provincial and Municipal Party Committees. We should advance studies, investigation, and rectification in an integrated manner, adhere to open-door education, and address the pressing difficulties and concerns of the people with genuine care, dedication, and resolve, ensuring that the outcomes of learning and education can benefit the public more fully and effectively

At the Anjiang Service Area of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, Xu gained a detailed understanding of the project planning, functional layout and implementation progress of the open-style service area. He pointed out that efforts should be intensified to facilitate construction. Based on the principle of meeting actual needs, the area should be expanded, functions improved and traffic efficiency enhanced, so as to effectively solve congestion problems.

At the reserved exit of Tieshan Township at the Xuefeng Mountain Interchange of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, Xu  was then briefed in detail on the project planning and construction. He urged proactive reporting and coordination to seek support from higher authorities, accelerate the planning and construction of the Xuefeng Mountain Interchange, continuously improve and optimize the regional transportation network, and better promote the high-quality economic development of the region.

In Tieshan Township, Xu inspected work related to theoretical study and education, workplace safety, as well as flood prevention and preparedness.He pointed out that we should proceed from the actual conditions at the grassroots level, adhere to open-door education, earnestly solicit public opinions, and deliver more practical benefits and solutions to difficulties for the people, so that the people can truly feel the results.

It is essential to strengthen the sense of responsibility with constant concern over potential risks. We will carry out in-depth investigations and rectifications of potential risks in key areas and sites, including hidden dangers of geological disasters, houses built on cut slopes, abandoned mine caves, ponds and reservoirs, and road traffic. We will earnestly organize emergency evacuation drills for the public to ensure all safety precautions are fully implemented.

In Wanxi Township, Xu talked with front-line officials and gained a detailed understanding of on-duty arrangements and convenience services.He pointed out that as it is currently the flood season, the flood-season on-duty system must be strictly implemented to ensure rapid emergency response and disposal in case of emergencies. We should always take public satisfaction as the fundamental criterion and improve the quality and level of convenience and benefit services for the people.

Xu also visited the Yang Family Courtyard of Guanxi Shidi in Yinshang Village, Wanxi Township. Afterwards he gained a fuller understanding of the protection of the traditional ancient village. He pointed out that efforts should be made to actively apply for relevant special funds to do a good job in renovation and protection.
