From April 16 to 17, Wei Zhaohui, deputy secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and mayor, led a delegation to conduct work connection with the CAAC Central-Southern Regional Administration and China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. (CR Guangzhou Group), and carry out investment promotion activities in Guangdong. Yu Jianyong, a municipal leader, and Lin Hua, secretary-general of the Municipal Government, participated in the activities.
During the talks with Zhang Dong, deputy director of the CAAC Central-Southern Regional Administration, and Yue Chunhua, deputy general manager and chief engineer of CR Guangzhou Group, Wei expressed gratitude to the two authorities for their long-term care and support for Huaihua’s development. It was pointed out that at present, Huaihua is firmly pursuing the blueprint of “Three Highlands and Four New Missions”, continuously implementing the “Five New Missions and Four Orientations” strategy, focusing on the four key tasks of port, industry, city and tourism, and striving to build a regional central city at the border of five provinces. Huaihua looks forward to support and guidance from the CAAC Central-Southern Regional Administration in optimizing air route layout, promoting the development of low-altitude economy, and enhancing air cargo functions. It also hopes that CR Guangzhou Group will support Huaihua’s railway construction during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and guide the launch of the second-phase project of Huaihua South EMU Depot. Zhang Dong and Yue Chunhua stated that they would earnestly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, provide support in light of Huaihua’s development reality, and assist Huaihua in achieving high-quality development.
Fantawild Holdings Inc. is a leading enterprise in the cultural technology sector in China. During the discussion with Liu Daoqiang, chairman of the group, Wei mentioned that Huaihua is solidly advancing the follow-up work of the Hunan Tourism Development Conference, continuously polishing the “Blessed Land of Huaihua” brand, and hopes the two sides will join hands to promote the implementation of projects such as theme parks in Huaihua. Liu Daoqiang said that the group will accelerate cooperation in light of Huaihua’s actual conditions to achieve win-win results.
Eternal Asia Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. is the first A-share listed supply chain enterprise in China. In the discussion with Chen Weimin, chairman and president of the group, Wei stated that Huaihua is vigorously developing the commercial and logistics industry relying on the international land port, and looks forward to deepening cooperation with Eternal Asia in promoting bulk commodity trade and port-side industrial development for mutual benefit and win-win results. Chen Weimin responded that the enterprise will give play to its industrial chain advantages, increase investment and layout in Huaihua, and expand business fields.
Consumer drones produced in Shenzhen account for 70% of the global market. Shenzhen UAV Industry Association is the first UAV industry organization in China, with more than 1,000 member enterprises. During the discussion with Pang Wei, Secretary-General of the association, Wei Chaohui pointed out that Huaihua boasts superior airspace resources and rich application scenarios, and hopes to cooperate in exploring the application of drones in agriculture, emergency response, cultural tourism and other fields. Pang Wei said that the association will organize a team to inspect Huaihua at an appropriate time to jointly build a low-altitude economic application demonstration.
Guangdong Hunan Huaihua Chamber of Commerce is committed to promoting economic and trade exchanges between Guangdong and Huaihua. In the discussion with Zheng Nenghuan, president of the chamber of commerce, and more than 10 entrepreneurs of the chamber, Wei thanked them for their care and support for the development of their hometown. She hoped that they would continue to strive for prosperity and serve as good role models of Huaihua; never forget their roots and repay their hometown to serve as co-builders of Huaihua; and publicize their hometown and expand its influence to serve as ambassadors of Huaihua. Members of the chamber of commerce all stated that they would give play to the role of a bridge and bond to contribute to the prosperity and development of their hometown.
