The Year of the Horse brings a new look to all things. In recent days, Huaihua Science and Technology Museum has carefully designed and launched a series of science popularization activities for the 2026 Spring Festival under the theme of “Technological Steeds Galloping into the Future”. Integrating traditional culture, science popularization experience, interactive practice and local characteristics in depth, the museum has presented a rich, innovative, safe and orderly science and culture feast for the general public and teenagers.
During the Spring Festival holiday and winter vacation, the museum launched a variety of featured activities for the public, including writing Spring Festival couplets and sending Fu characters to welcome the Spring Festival with the lingering fragrance of ink, interactive performances of robotic dogs for the Year of the Horse Spring Festival, the “Horses Galloping” wish-check-in activity, science popularization classes and science experiment shows. Centering on the Chinese zodiac culture of the Year of the Horse, the activities fully incorporate cutting-edge scientific and technological principles such as artificial intelligence and hands-on practice sessions, allowing the public to experience the charm of science and the strong festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival in an immersive way while writing Spring Festival couplets, experiencing technology and doing experiments.
Since the launch of the activities, the museum has seen a steady stream of visitors and a sustained boom in popularity.
