From March 11 to 13, in accordance with the arrangement of the Office of the Municipal Emergency and Safety Commission, the municipal unannounced inspection team on workplace safety conducted intensive inspections for the first quarter of 2026. Holding the “Four No’s and Two Directlys” principle, the team went  into the front line to identify hazards, and promote rectification, ensuring workplace safety.

Led by the Office of the Huaihua Municipal Emergency and Safety Commission, the unannounced inspection is composed of several teams. Each team was headed by a deputy division-level executive leader from member units of the Huaihua Municipal Emergency and Safety Commission, including the Huaihua Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, the Huaihua Municipal Transportation Bureau, and the Huaihua Municipal Fire Rescue Brigade. Professional backbones and experts were selected to participate throughout the process, accompanied by journalists who followed the teams to ensure rigorous oversight from A to Z. In response to prominent safety issues and major hidden dangers identified during the inspections, on-the-spot assignments were adhered to, with immediate rectification implemented. Meanwhile, efforts to intensify warning and exposure were strengthened. Through firm supervision, all levels of departments and various production and operation units were required to consolidate safety responsibilities and implement concrete safeties.

During the inspections, holding the “Four No’s and Two Directlys” principle, each team went into major venues such as enterprise workshops, shopping malls and hotels, ferry terminals, high-rise buildings, and gas stations. Methods such as on-site document review, field inspection, random interviews with personnel, on-site operational testing, and access to surveillance footage and ledgers are adopted to verify responsibility implementation face-to-face, identify risks and hidden dangers point-to-point, and urge rectification of problems with concrete actions.

Adopting a problem-oriented approach, this unannounced inspection used specific cases to drive broader improvements. It urged industries, departments, enterprises, and institutions to identify and remove various safety risks and hidden dangers, resolutely plug loopholes in safety management, and effectively consolidate  local jurisdictional responsibilities, departmental supervisory duties, and corporate primary responsibilities. All efforts were dedicated to preventing various safety risks, resolutely curbing the occurrence of all types of accidents, and ensuring high-quality economic and social development of the city through high-level safety.
