Foster and apply a correct view of performance to

address people's difficulties and worries with sincerity and devotion

On the morning of March 18, Wei Zhaohui, deputy secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and mayor, presided over a special meeting to coordinate the handling of petition matters in the real estate sector. She emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thought on strengthening and improving the people's petition work, firmly establish and practice a correct view of governance performance, solve the people's urgent difficulties and concerns with sincerity and dedication, and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people. Municipal leaders Peng Xiandan and Zeng Wenqian, as well as Lin Hua, secretary-general of the Huaihua Municipal Government, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Wei heard a report on the progress in handling petition-related matters in the real estate sector. She sorted out difficulties and bottlenecks on site together with leading officials of the relevant responsible units and studied solutions.

Wei also pointed out that housing is an issue concerning both people's well-being and development, which contributes to social harmony and stability. We must always stand firm on the people's position, stay true to the original aspiration of serving the people, and shoulder the responsibility of "ensuring housing delivery and stabilizing people's well-being" with a high degree of political, ideological and operational consciousness.

We must adhere to seeking truth from facts, implement targeted policies and categorized disposal, and resolve various conflicts and problems in accordance with laws and regulations. We should strengthen systematic thinking, enhance coordination and collaboration among departments, advance work through special task forces, carry out operations with wall charts, adopt list-based management and ensure closed-loop implementation, so as to form a concerted effort in tackling tough challenges.

We should maintain regular communication with petitioners, listen patiently to their appeals, share progress frankly, strive for understanding through communication and promote the resolution of issues on the basis of understanding, and truly deliver work that touches the hearts of the people.
