On the afternoon of January 21, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, presided over a forum on the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry. He listened to opinions and suggestions from experts, scholars, association representatives, business representatives, and media representatives in the cultural and tourism sector. Attendees included Wei Zhaohui, mayor and Party committee deputy secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Government, Li Weilin, Hu Chen and other municipal leaders.
Many people put forward specific opinions and suggestions on promoting the high-quality development of Huaihua's cultural and tourism industry and on building a nationally top-tier tourist and vacation destination. They included Wang Kai and Tan Weiping, experts and scholars in the cultural and tourism industry; Lu Zhijun, Ling Ling, and Zhai Xiaoqin, representatives from cultural and tourism industry associations; Chen Liming, Chen Yan, Zhang Xu, Huang Jie, Huang Jian, Wang Chan, Yu Xia, and Zhang He, business representatives from the sector; and Wei Bo, Ling Ya, Deng Rong, and Liang Haiyang, media representatives. Xu intermittently joined the discussion, engaging in in-depth exchanges.
After carefully listening to these speeches, Xu stated that everyone had proposed many targeted and highly operable opinions and suggestions from various perspectives and levels, which fully reflected their great concern and in-depth understandings about Huaihua's cultural and tourism development. We will carefully sort out and fully absorb these valuable inputs. Moving forward, we will thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Culture as well as his important expositions on tourism development. We will earnestly implement the deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, seize opportunities and forge ahead. We will promote the in-depth integration of culture and tourism, highlight cultural characteristics, and emphasize technological empowerment. Efforts will be made to upgrade the key tourism products of the "Three Rivers and One Bay" (Anjiang, Hongjiang, Zhijiang, and Yushuwan), focus on advancing the tourism development and construction of the Xuefeng Mountain area, continuously polish the service brand of "Blessed Huaihua, As Warm As Home", strive to build a regional consumption and tourism hub in the border area of five provinces, thereby facilitating the construction of a world - class tourist resort destination in China. It is hoped that experts, scholars, representatives from cultural and tourism industry associations, enterprises, and the media will continue to espouse Huaihua's cultural and tourism development as always, and act as "partners", "liaison officers", and "spokespersons" for Huaihua's cultural and tourism sector, thus contributing more wisdom and strength to the high - quality development of Huaihua's cultural and tourism industry.
