With the Spring Festival approaching, Huaihua's courier industry has already shifted into its "holiday transport mode," entering a peak of concentrated pre-festival business volume. All delivery outlets are now operating at full capacity, working to ensure the timely delivery of New Year goods and packages for residents.

On the evening of January 12, a reporter visited a courier station on Yingfeng Road, where mountains of packages—ranging from daily goods to festive gift boxes—filled the view. Inside the station, couriers were busily weaving through the piles, carrying out a series of procedures like scanning, sorting, and loading vehicles in an orderly manner. Focus was evident on every face, all to ensure each parcel reaches residents as quickly as possible.

According to the station manager, the volume of express deliveries typically sees a significant increase about a month before the Spring Festival each year, rising by approximately 50% compared to normal days. This growth is driven by residents' early purchases of New Year goods, coupled with pre-holiday promotional campaigns launched by major e-commerce platforms, which together have led to a substantial surge in parcel orders.

It is understood that to meet the business peak, express delivery companies across Huaihua planned and prepared early, implementing multiple safeguard measures. In terms of manpower, they have bolstered their front-line delivery teams by hiring temporary staff and optimizing shift schedules. Regarding logistics capacity, they have increased the allocation and dispatch of transport vehicles and intensified delivery frequencies to ensure efficient parcel transfer. Meanwhile, leveraging big data technology, they have optimized delivery routes and accurately matched parcel volumes with couriers in specific zones, minimizing delays and enhancing last-mile delivery efficiency.

Facing the sheer business volume, express delivery practitioners have remained at their posts, working overtime and extra shifts. With sweat and perseverance, they have fortified the pre-holiday delivery service line, striving to ensure that every parcel carrying someone's anticipation arrives on time.
