The Expo to be held on December 12 with government subsidies and manufacturer discounts

On December 9, it was learned from the Huaihua Municipal Commerce Bureau that the 13th Western Hunan (Huaihua) International Auto Expo would be held from December 12 to 15. Under the theme "A New Chapter in Smart Driving, Benefit Offers in Huaihua," the event will feature participation from over 60 brands designed to showcase more than 1,300 vehicle models. During the exhibition, each brand will combine its promotions with provincial-level subsidies, creating a synergy of "government support plus manufacturer discounts."

Reportedly,relevant promotional activities will be aligned with the Hunan provincial auto sales campaign "Enjoy Hunan, Boundless Benefits," which was launched on December 1. During the event, individuals aged 18 or above who purchased a new vehicle from a participating dealer in Hunan and completed in-province registration could be eligible for a purchase subsidy. The subsidy is offered in two forms—a one-time purchase grant or a grand prize—both awarded by lottery.

Consumers must submit required documents, including ID card, purchase invoice, and vehicle registration certificate, through a designated platform between December 15 and January 10 of the following year. After verification, a unified lottery will be held from February 1 to 5, with results made available on the platform. Winning electronic vouchers will be valid until October 31, 2026, and can be redeemed both online and at participating offline merchants.

Wu Xian, deputy director of the Huaihua Municipal Commerce Bureau, stated that starting from December 31 this year, the nationwide purchase tax exemption for new energy vehicles will be adjusted to a 50% reduction. Accordingly, the city will utilize multiple channels to communicate the detailed policy to residents, ensuring that all local vehicle purchasers can fully benefit from the incentives.
