On the morning of December 29, Wei Zhaohui, deputy secretary of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Huaihua Municipal Government, inspected goods supply and safety production in Hecheng District of Huaihua City. She emphasized the need to thoroughly implement president Xi Jinping's important directives on safety production, rigorously address and manage various risks and hidden dangers, and make every effort to stabilize goods supply and ensure safety production with a strong sense of responsibility at all times, so as to guarantee a peaceful and harmonious holiday for the citizens.
At the central store of Jiahui Supermarket of Huashengtang Shopping Mall, Wei gained a detailed understanding of goods supply and safety production, and conducted on-site inspections of the rectification of fire safety hazards. She emphasized the need to strengthen the concept of "hidden dangers being accidents", enhance the supervision and guidance of functional departments, strengthen the main responsibility of enterprises, and effectively rectify existing problems and hidden dangers in a timely manner. In addition, attention should be paid to regularly inspect the fire alarm system and equipment, strengthen training and drills for mall employees on fire fighting, emergency evacuation, etc., and vigorously promote knowledge related to safe use of fire, electricity, and gas to mall operators. What’s more, efforts should also be made to strengthen market operation and safety production monitoring, ensure sufficient supply of goods and stable prices, so as to actively create a safe, orderly, harmonious, and stable holiday market environment.
At Zhongmin Gas Co., Ltd., Wei had a detailed understanding of the supply and safety of bottled gas. She pointed out that as we enter the cold winter, the demand for heating is increasing, the risk of gas safety is increasing, and safety production of gas cannot be ignored at all. Enterprises should strictly fulfill their main responsibilities, abide by various safety production management systems, and strictly regulate the operation processes of gas’s storage, filling, and distribution, so great efforts should be paid to conduct a thorough analysis and judgment of gas safety risks, refine emergency plans, strengthen emergency drills, and continuously improve our ability to respond to and handle accidents by building defenses and preparing for them through practice. Focus should also be paid to strengthen inspections and publicity of rental housing and public rental housing to prevent incidents of carbon monoxide poisoning.
At the amusement park of Wuxi Square, Wei gained a detailed understanding of the construction and operation of the park, and conducted on-site inspections of the safety management of amusement facilities and special equipment. She instructed the company leaders to conduct comprehensive safety inspections of key entertainment facilities on an irregular basis, promptly identify problems, eliminate hidden dangers, and strictly implement safety precautions, so as to ensure safe operation.
