On November 1, the empowerment training for the “Caring Mothers and Warm-hearted Sisters” project for women in emerging sectors was held at Junyong Experimental School in Huaihua. Organized by the Huaihua Municipal Women’s Federation and the Municipal Party Committee’s Social Work Department, the event aimed to strengthen women’s organizations in emerging fields, expand the volunteer service team, and provide a platform for exchange and mutual learning. Chairpersons of Women’s federations, heads of women’s organizations in emerging sectors, and women representatives from counties, districts and economic development zones attended.
The program was carefully designed to move participants from practice to theory. At the launch ceremony, representatives from the Hecheng District Women’s Federation, the Municipal Social Organization Women’s Federation and the Zhijiang County Women’s Federation shared their experiences in turn, presenting innovative practices and effective approaches for establishing women’s organizations in emerging fields. Their grassroots, replicable lessons offered valuable practical guidance.
In the second segment, a senior family-education instructor provided targeted capacity-building training. Through professional presentations and vivid case analyses, the session effectively enhanced the participants’ professional competence and service skills in family education guidance and child care, particularly among the “Caring Mothers” and “Warm-hearted Sisters.”
During the goodwill-distribution ceremony, the Municipal Women’s Federation allocated nearly 100,000 yuan from a special project fund to issue hardship relief payments to women in emerging sectors who are facing difficulties. Delegations from the Women’s Federations of Chenxi County, Mayang County, Zhijiang County, Hegang District, the International Land Port Economic Development Zone, and the Municipal Women’s Federation for Non-public Sectors came forward in batches to receive donation plaques.
The Municipal Women’s Federation issued a call for recruits for the “Caring Mothers” program at the meeting, extending a sincere invitation on the spot and urging more compassionate people to join and help light the beacon of hope for children in need.
The Municipal Women’s Federation will deepen the construction of women’s organizations in emerging fields, promote the “Caring Mothers” volunteer service as a branded, normalized program, and lead women to contribute greater wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of Huaihua’s women and children’s affairs.
