The 26th Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo, themed “Technology-Driven, Brand-Empowered, Boosting Comprehensive Rural Revitalization,” opened at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center on November 14, 2025. During the four-day event, the Huaihua exhibition hall showcased over 1,000 distinctive agricultural products. With their unique regional characteristics and exceptional quality, the products quickly became a highlight of the expo, attracting numerous visitors to stop to sample them.
On the opening day, the Huaihua exhibition hall was bustling with activity. A wide array of local specialties, including aromatic cured meats, golden and translucent tea oil, and sweet, juicy Bingtang oranges, drew large crowds. Visitors eagerly tasted the natural freshness from the “Land of Five Rivers.”
As the “Chinese Southern Medicine Valley,” the birthplace of hybrid rice, and a renowned fruit-growing region, Huaihua curated exhibits around three key agricultural industrial chains: traditional Chinese medicine, food products, and seed industry. The exhibition featured 25 city-level enterprises and 96 county (city, district) enterprises. Products on display included tea, fragrant rice, cured meats, tea oil, Bingtang oranges, Gong pomelos, poria cocos, and Solomon’s seal. Through product displays, live tastings, and craft demonstrations, the Huaihua city-level hall and 13 county (city, district) exhibition areas comprehensively showcased the achievements of Huaihua’s eco-agriculture.
After 26 years of development, the Central China Agricultural Expo has become the largest and most influential agricultural event in the region. For Huaihua, the expo served as a bridge to demonstrate both the fruitful outcomes of rural revitalization and the core competitiveness of the “Huaixiang Huaipin” brand. Moving forward, Huaihua will continue to prioritize brand building to drive high-quality development in the agricultural industry, enabling more of its eco-friendly products to reach broader markets across Hunan and beyond.
