On the afternoon of August 18, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, presided over a special scheduling meeting of the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference of Huaihua Municipal Executive Committee. He firstly listened to the reports on the progress of the preparation work of the conference organization, reception services, investment attraction, and urban infrastructure improvement, and then he studied to solve relevant specific problems and arranged and deployed the next key work. He Zunqing, vice secretary of Huaihua Municipal Party Committee and secretary of Huaihua Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and Li Wanqian, chairman of the Standing Committee of Huaihua Municipal People’s Congress attended the meeting. Also in attendance were Li Weilin, Yang Zhihua, Yin Peiguo, Zou Xingwang, Hu Chen, Han Xiaobo, Hu Heping, Yu Jianyong, Zhou Chongyan, Xiang Rulian, and Zeng Wenqian，etc., all of whom are key officials of Huaihua Municipal Government.

Xu pointed out that there are only 30 days left before the conference officially starts, so all related personals and departments of the city should further enhance responsibility and work harder to finish the preparation work as soon as possible and perfect the work as possible as they can. Therefore, we must effectively assign responsibility to every related individual to achieve daily progress and refine every work in details. Main cadres should take the lead by devoting themselves wholeheartedly to the work, and all related staff members should do their best to do their work well. In addition, we must solidly carry out retrospective work by truly going deep into the scene and by identifying and improving every detail on urban environment, tourism products development, conference organization, reception and services, so as to make all travelator and guests here fully feel the sincerity and warmth of the city like “staying at their own home”. Xu added that we must strictly implement the “137” work promotion mechanism by scientifically organizing construction, and, on the basis of ensuring quality and safety, we should make every effort to catch up with construction progress and accelerate the pace of the final stage of urban quality improvement and the completion of the key cultural and tourism projects. What’s more, we should highlight the layout of business formats by combining local characteristics and well-known brands, and pay attention to the layout of intangible cultural heritage, cuisine, specialty products and so on with distinct local characteristics, so as to meet the tourists’ needs and to stimulate their consumption desires. Last but not least, we must use money properly and efficiently by strictly preventing corruption and bribery, standardizing project management and strengthening fund supervision.
