It has been learned from the press conference of the 5th Hunan Tourism Development Conference that Huaihua adheres to market-oriented operations in promoting the development of cultural tourism projects. To date, social investment in key cultural and tourism projects in the city has reached 91.76%. Twenty-two of the 23 key projects with operational and investment needs have been matched, demonstrating significant results from this market-oriented operation model.
Huaihua is fully committed to promoting the development of 38 cultural tourism projects, focusing on "Three Rivers and One Bay" (Anjiang [river], Hongjiang [river], Zhijiang [river], and Yushu Bay in the main urban area). Major projects such as the Xuefeng Mountain Cableway, the "world's longest alpine cableway," Jingping Ancient Village, known as "China's First Palace Music Village," and Tianwen Island of the Qu Yuan Cultural Theme Park, are about to debut. To ensure the smooth progress of projects, Huaihua has launched a "Project Construction Year" campaign and implemented a "one project with one municipal leader" system. Quality control, safety management, and progress requirements are integrated into daily operations to ensure the high-quality and efficient progress of key cultural tourism projects. At the same time, they are actively planning the "second half" of the Tourism Development Conference to further enhance the "city revitalization" effect of the conference.
