On the morning of July 23, Xu Zhongjian, secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, presided over the collective study of the Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee Meeting and the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee Theoretical Learning. During the meeting, attendees focused on the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech in the twenty-first session of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the twenty-first collective study as well as the recent important instructions on learning and education, thus developing a profound understanding of Xi Jinping thought on the Party's self-revolution. They aimed to resolutely take up the responsibility of governing and regulating the Party by fully implementing the important “Five Requirements”, pushing forward the Party's overall strict governance under the guidance of complete self-revolution, and understanding the decisive significance of the “two establishments”, “two safeguards” and “two maintenance” through concrete acts. Those in attendance included He Zunqing, deputy secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, and Li Wanqian, director of the Standing Committee of the Huaihua Municipal People's Congress.
The meeting stressed that the city's party organizations at all levels and party members and cadres will study and implement the important ideas of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the party's self-revolution, by means of setting up comprehensive benchmarks and carrying out the party's self-revolution to the end. They will resolutely implement the important requirements that “enhancing awareness of the Party's self-revolution”, understand the extreme importance of promoting the Party's self-revolution, and clarify the misconceptions and ideological mistakes, by maintaining political strength as a practitioner, defender, and promoter of the self-revolution.
In order to firmly implement the important requirement of“enhancing Party members awareness of the communist-party development”, they will unremittingly practice Xi Jinping Thought of Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era by cultivating a firm loyalty to the party and consciousness of serving the people, and maintaining integrity and purity.
In order to resolutely implement the important requirement of the“ensuring the routine operation of power”, they will as usual tighten the regulation of the system, strengthen the implementation of the system with rigid constraints, virtually restrain the power within the system, and minimize the power room for “rent-seeking”.
In order to resolutely implement the important requirement of“strict supervision and discipline”, we will always use strict supervision and discipline as a sharp weapon by promoting all types of supervision through the coordination, reinforcing efforts to address the unhealthy Party style and corruption with investigation and swift action.
In order to resolutely implement the important requirement of “further regulatingand governing party management responsibility”, we will always assume the political responsibility, and continue to create a stricter atmosphere. In order to ensure the closure of the study and education, we will conduct the active “learning” and the comprehensive and in-depth field study, and make real changes if necessary, thus achieving study and educational gains in a more measured and solid manner.
